Mountain State Mohawk Here are a couple of pictures and a video of Mountain State Mohawk. Big Mo was pick of the litter from the second breeding of Geronimo and Franklin's Thunder's Lady. Mohawk will make his own mark on the Original Mountain Cur world. Mohawk is now back in WV!! Above is a picture of Mo on a hilltop in West Virginia. Below, he is treed at 7 below zero in several inches of snow on one of his first gray squirrels in Indiana. Take a look at his tracks under these trees and you can see how little he moves once he gets treed. What a solid tree dog - and he trees even harder on coons! Mohawk's pedigree....
Franklin's Thunder
Check out this pedigree. We believe that this pedigree will come to be known as one of the dominant crosses in the Original Mountain Cur breed. The same cross has produced a number of outstanding dogs, including our own Mohawk and Geronimo's Mountain State Sioux. If you can't tell from the pictures, Mohawk is about 45 pounds, jet black with a little brindle and white trim. He has a big square head, natural bob tail, and dew claws.
