In April, 2006, Randy Barker and CD Cole decided to breed their squirrel dog, Sandy to Geronimo.  They had raised a litter from Apache with great success and Randy was well aware of Geronimo's reproduction record.  One of the results of that cross was Scout.  This dog was not hunted until almost a year old when Randy got him back.  In six months, he has become an amazing squirrel dog!

Like Geronimo's Mountain State Sioux, Scout is 50% OMCBA Hall of Fame dog Franklin's Thunder!

Randy has entered Scout in three hunts.  In his first hunt, he was 2007 Big Red Winter Reserve Squirrel Champion and high scoring registered dog.  (The only dog to beat him was Geronimo!)  In his second hunt, Scout was 6th place in the 2007 WTDA World Squirrel Hunt... all this before he was 18 months old.
